Meditrial Software Earns Recognition with ISO 9001 Certification

Trademarked cloud-based products Catchtrial, Maptrial and Fastrial recognized to meet high quality standards.

Meditrial Europe has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification from Bureau Veritas for the delivery of Clinical Services and for the design and development of advanced cloud based software systems, Catchtrial, Maptrial and Fastrial.

The certification, which is aimed at evaluating the management systems of a company, analyses the standard of the quality of operations, which is an important criterion for ensuring long-term success.

Speaking on the occasion, dr. Monica Tocchi, medical director of Meditrial Europe said, "It's a moment of pride for all of us at Meditrial. The Meditrial Europe ISO 9001 certification encompasses a broad range of solutions allowing to offer turnkey support to customers. Certification has been granted for “Complete management of clinical trials, monitoring, regulatory compliance, data management and quality requirements. Design, deployment and support of advanced clinical software.
Cloud based applications for integrated data and image capture, trial management and market vigilance”.

Under the ISO 9001:2008 certification, an organization is audited based on its sites, functions, services or products and processes. The certificate is awarded if non-conformities are not found by the auditor with regard to the company's systems and processes. Even once the certificate is awarded it has to be renewed at regular intervals, usually once in three years with annual surveys being conducted to guarantee high quality and efficiency.
